From 22 May 2007 the trade of bovine semen in England is governed by the Bovine Semen (England) Regulations 2007 / The Bovine Semen ( England ) ( Amendment) Regulations 2011. These regulations bring English legislation for the trade of bovine semen in line with the current EC Directive 88/407/EEC, and revise the regulations governing domestic trade.
From 13 July 2007 the trade of bovine semen in Scotland is governed by the Bovine Semen (Scotland) Regulations 2007.
From 30 April 2008 the trade of bovine semen in Wales is governed by the Bovine Semen (Wales) Regulations 2008 link to legislation.
